The loss of a loved one, especially a child, is catastrophic. It leads individuals to a feeling of guilt, doubt, and loneliness. Many people are unable to cope with these feelings and often withdraw and enter a cycle of depression.
Gateway of Hope’s “Quiet Tears” program offers grief counseling sessions to address these issues. Our support group ensures participants are not alone in the grief process.
Our program is designed to connect families who share the experience of a loved one who has died of suicide, survived a suicide attempt, or is at high risk for suicide ideations. The meetings are free and open to the public with an advance reservation. For additional information, please send an email to administrator@gatewayofhopefsc.org.
