17 Veterans Commit Suicide every day. Gateway of Hope is proud to offer services to our veterans and their families. We are a resource hub for those veterans that are relocating, displaced, or in need of physical and mental services. Gateway of Hope provides group counseling, support groups, and community housing.

With barriers affecting our veterans, it is our duty to assist them in overcoming these barriers. Many of our service men and veterans do not receive medical care because of the following:

  • 47% of veterans deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, post 9/11, who likely suffer from PTSD or major depression do not seek support.
  • 45% believe their friends and families would be more helpful than a professional.
  • The average rate time for treatment at a VA facility is 18 or more days.
  • A veteran who seeks Mental Health Services must travel more than 15 miles to the nearest VA facility.

Gateway Of Hope attempts to alleviate these barriers by providing community resources within the service members or veterans community. Our resources include community, housing, mental health services, daily, living, home finding, and group homes.
